A New, Exciting Chapter for ACE

We are thrilled to announce an important milestone in the history of Automation Controls & Engineering, LLC (ACE). We are proud to inform you that Michigan Custom Machines (MCM) has merged its operations and employees with ACE. This merger marks an exciting new chapter for our company and presents numerous opportunities for growth and innovation.

Following the merger, MCM will continue as a brand under ACE, with a dedicated team focused on designing and executing test systems, bolstered by the resources and support of the ACE umbrella. This strategic integration of talent and expertise will enable us to provide even better automation and testing solutions to our valued customers. We have made significant strides in enhancing our operations and processes in recent years, aiming for continued growth and improvement. Some key developments include:

• In February 2021, ACE acquired Miller Tool & Die and successfully merged operations.
• In November 2021, certification under ISO-9001 quality management system
• In January 2022, registered as ITAR compliant company.  
• In May 2022, the acquisition of Michigan Custom Machines was completed.
• In June 2023, implemented a new ERP system, Total ETO.
• In July 2023, ACE relocated headquarters to a larger facility in Howell.

As part of this merger, we are pleased to announce the relocation of the test group from Novi, MI to a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at 1900 Northfield Dr. Rochester Hills, MI 48309. This move signifies our commitment to fostering collaboration, creativity, and efficiency, providing our teams with the tools and environment needed to thrive. We firmly believe that this merger and our new location, alongside our existing manufacturing facilities in Howell and Jackson, will bring significant benefits to our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.
